Product Overview:
KYN61-40.5 is an indoor, metal-clad, withdrawable AC high-voltage switchgear designed for power systems rated up to 40.5 kV. It is widely used in transmission and distribution substations, power plants, large industrial facilities, mining operations, and infrastructure projects where high reliability, strong short-circuit performance, and safe operation are required.
The switchgear adopts a metal-enclosed, compartmentalized structure with clear separation between the circuit breaker compartment, busbar compartment, cable compartment, and control compartment. This design enhances operational safety, simplifies maintenance, and minimizes the risk of fault propagation. The withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker allows convenient installation, inspection, and replacement, while ensuring dependable switching performance under normal and fault conditions.
The KYN61-40.5 switchgear is assembled by RKP Dreams in accordance with applicable standards and established assembly practices. The complete assembly integrates qualified primary equipment, protection and control devices, interlocking systems, and auxiliary circuits to form a reliable high-voltage distribution unit suitable for demanding power system applications.
Standards Compliance
KYN61-40.5 is designed and tested in accordance with GB/T 3906-2020 and DL/T 593-2016, which are technically aligned with the IEC 62271 series for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear. The product has passed relevant type tests, including dielectric withstand, short-circuit withstand, temperature rise, and mechanical operation tests, demonstrating stable electrical performance and mechanical reliability.
Product Features:
- Metal-clad and compartmentalized design Fully metal-enclosed structure with functional separation of busbar, circuit breaker, cable, and low-voltage compartments, providing enhanced operational safety and compliance with IEC 62271-200 requirements.
- Withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker Equipped with a withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker mounted on a truck mechanism, allowing safe insertion, withdrawal, and isolation for maintenance without affecting adjacent feeders.
- Comprehensive mechanical interlocking system Reliable interlocking prevents incorrect operation, such as breaker insertion or withdrawal under load, earthing switch operation when the breaker is closed, and access to live compartments.
- High insulation coordination Insulation levels are coordinated according to IEC standards, ensuring adequate dielectric strength under power-frequency and lightning impulse conditions.
- Compatibility with intelligent protection and control Supports integration of numerical protection relays, metering devices, and communication interfaces, enabling remote monitoring, protection coordination, and system automation.
- Robust mechanical construction Rigid enclosure structure and high-quality components ensure mechanical strength, long service life, and resistance to operational stresses.
- Convenient installation and maintenance Modular panel design and front-access maintenance facilitate installation, inspection, and replacement, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
- Compliance with recognized standards Designed and type-tested according to GB/T 3906-2020 and DL/T 593-2016, technically aligned with the IEC 62271 series.
